Shwe Myat Myo Oo
Hello! I’m Shwe, your friendly neighborhood engineer. I extensively utilize the rigorous analytical methods of engineering with software-based computational methods and my (hopefully!) creative design ideas to come up with viable solutions to various engineering problems. I am a MS Energy Systems student at Northeastern University, and graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering and a certificate in entrepreneurship back in December 2016. I worked as a technical development team lead for Winter ACMV, a professional engineering firm in Yangon, before coming back to grad school.
I am also the first (and currently the only) applied CFD analyst from Myanmar. Much of my work in this domain focuses on analysis and optimization for HVAC applications such as thermal comfort, preventing surgical site infections in hospital operating rooms, examining harmful particulate flow in commercial basement garages, and making data centers more energy-efficient.
